Rohingya Refugee Education Fund (RREF) was founded in 2015 as a Washington State (USA) Corporation. RREF is filing for 501c3 charitable organization status with the goal of being granted such status in 2016.

RREF is managed by Laura Reese, an American currently living on Penang Island, Malaysia. RREF pays no salaries to its officers.
Administration Expenses: All administration costs are paid by Laura Reese and Marie Montonye. In the event that fundraising goals are met each year, these officers will be reimbursed for expenses limited to the following:
- Corporate Organizing Fees
- Expediting Fees
- Web hosting Fees
- Website development Services
- Accounting Services
- Accounting Software
- Supplies (reimbursements for items paid for out of pocket)
The goal is to keep administrative costs lower than 5% of total expenses. On the order of $1,000-$2,000 per year.
